Description

The SICK CLV63x Series Barcode Scanner is a compact, fixed-mount device that provides 1D code identification in harsh environments and HACCP applications. It features a high scanning frequency of up to 1,200Hz and SMART620 technology for enhanced reading of damaged and partially obscured codes. The CLV63x series is offered in variants to cover long, mid, and short-range distances. Other variants include line or grid scanners, side light emission and oscillating mirrors, and Ethernet versions are available.

Integrated function buttons and a built-in LED bar graph enable the device to be commissioned quickly. They also allow the reading diagnosis to be started easily, and a match code to be taught in without a PC. The parameterization of the scanner can be saved externally via a microSD memory card.

The CLV63x series is engineered to withstand harsh cleaning environments and meet HACCP standards. The IP69K device variants have Inox stainless-steel housing, an integrated plastic viewing window, and Ecolab-certified cables to withstand these conditions. To meet strict HACPP standards, the CVL63x is also available in a variant with a shatterproof plastic viewing window.
