The SICK Zx36 Series Barcode Scanner is a handheld unit that provides 1D, 2D, and DPM code identification in demanding industrial applications. It features rugged housing with an IP65 or IP68 enclosure rating, which allows it to withstand 1 to 3m falls and adverse ambient conditions. This unit features a 1,280 x 960px sensor, code resolutions ranging from ≥0.08 to ≥0.19, and up to 1,520mm reading distances.
These scanners are offered in corded and cordless variants to meet specific application needs. They are easily configured by scanning a barcode, its intuitive software, or -during maintenance- automatic data upload. The Zx36 series scanner also provides read confirmation with a beep, vibration, and LED indicator.
The Zx36 series features intelligent scanning functions for improved reading efficiency. The decoding algorithms of this scanner allow it to detect codes regardless of size, resolution, surface, and contrast. This scanner's intelligent illumination system also allows the reading of codes on difficult surfaces, such as those that are reflective, curved, or otherwise irregular.
