The SICK RFU61x Series RFID Reader is a highly compact read/write device with a 0.5m range, the smallest within SICK's UHF product families. It is ideal for IoT applications directly on the workpiece or component. The various interfaces of the RFU61x Series enable direct connection of a trigger sensor, through which the RFU61x can function as an independent, remote unit. The RFU61x complements SICK's near field product portfolio, permitting continuous UHF RFID identification for ranges up 10m for the first time. The RFU61X can process data directly, which is then passed onto the controller or connect IT systems. The RFU61x is Ethernet-enabled, and can also program individualized software solutions using the SICK AppSpace eco-system.
