Description

The Lenze SMV series is an inverter series designed for motor applications where dynamic speed and torque control is needed. This inverter offers auto-tuning, dynamic torque responses with low-speed operation. The SMV series comes in either IP31 or IP65 protection, for use in outdoor and indoor environments, including where atmospheric moisture is present or low pressure water jets are used. These inverters are ideal for use with conveyors, food production lines, packaging equipment, and fan and pump systems, for example.

The motor comes in either 1 or 3 phase options, with voltage options including: 120/240V, 200/240V, 400/480V, 480/600V. It can handle 150% overload for 60 seconds, or 200% overload for 15 seconds (up to 7.5kW). The control I/O features includes scalable 4-20mA and 0-10V analogue input with wire break detection, as well as negative or positive logic. The motor is equipped with DC injection braking, S ramps, and a UL approved motor thermal overload protection system.
