The Festo DFM Series is a double-acting guided drive line with options available for a plain or recirculating ball bearing guide. There are multiple cushioning options: elastic cushioning, pneumatic cushioning, and a shock absorber. The guided actuator DFM is suitable for clamping, lifting and stopping tasks. There are variants recommended for production facilities for the manufacture of lithium-ion batteries. The actuator and guide unit are in a single housing and features a high resistance to torques and lateral forces.
