Festo DPZ Series Twin Cylinder

The Festo DPZ Series Twin Cylinder is a high load-bearing actuator with ball guidance designed to provide twice the force in half the space. The DPZ twin cylinder provides 100 to 1,000N thrust at 6 bar operating pressure and, with the large distance between piston rods, it has a high load-bearing capacity of 8 to 105N. This cylinder is double-acting with position detection via a proximity switch and features elastic cushioning rings with plates on both sides. Each cylinder has the option of either a plain-bearing or recirculating ball-bearing guide. A high lateral force and precision version of the DPZ series is also available and features a through piston rod and two end plates.
