The Festo EMMB Series Servo Motor is a compact AC synchronous servo motor designed for simple positioning tasks. It is a reliable, dynamic, and precise unit with up to 750W performance class and an integrated absolute encoder. The integrated absolute encoder records the angular position and derives the angular velocity signals and other status variables. A higher-order servo drive evaluates these signals. The EMMB is available in three sizes and can be configured with an optional de-energized holding brake, which allows the motor shaft to be held at a standstill.
