Description

The Festo GG and GRR Series one-way flow control valves are used to change pre-selectable flow rates during a movement sequence. For example, this can allow a pre-selectable output speed to be changed during the operation of a single or double-acting cylinder. These valves have a flow control non-return function and, depending on the version, provide open and/or closed throttling functions.

The flow rate or output speed of the piston is adjusted using an adjustment screw and, as a result, a more or less large part of the actuation path on the roller lever is anticipated. Depending on the valve version, operating the roller lever allows the flow rate or speed to be increased or decreased. This change can be performed gradually within the stroke range by appropriately designing the switching cam or a control rail.
