The Festo KASI Series Flat Cable features a 2-core design with a 1.5 mm² cross-section and comes in 100-meter lengths. It utilizes insulation displacement technology for contact, eliminating the need to strip cable and core sheathing. The yellow variant is preferred for AS-Interface networks, while the black is used for auxiliary power supply.

The KASI cables are rated IP65 when the wire ends are sealed. They can operate at voltages up to 60V AC or 75V DC, with a current rating of 3A. The cables are constructed with a rubber compound casing and tin-plated copper conductors.
