The Festo LFU Series Filter Silencer is designed to clean exhaust air from pneumatic control systems while significantly reducing noise. Available in sizes ranging from G1/4 to G1, this filter silencer offers flow rates from 4000 to12500 l/min, depending on the model. It operates within a temperature range of -10 to 60°C and can handle pressures up to 1.6MPa (16 bar or 232 psi).

The LFU filter silencer effectively removes up to 99.99% of oil and other contaminants from the exhaust air using a fine filter insert with a 1μm grade of filtration. Simultaneously, it reduces exhaust noise across all frequencies, with smaller models achieving a noise reduction of up to 40dB(A).

Designed for vertical mounting with a ±5° tolerance, the LFU series features a manual condensate drain to remove collected moisture. The device is compatible with compressed air systems meeting ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4] standards and can operate with either lubricated or non-lubricated air.
