Description
The Festo CPX-GE series is a line of plastic or metal interlinking blocks designed to provide the power supply for the modules used on them as well as their bus connections. The use of decentralized devices on the fieldbus – particularly with a high degree of protection for direct machine mounting – demands a flexible power supply concept. The interlinking blocks provide either a central power supply for the entire CPX terminal or galvanically isolated, all-pin dis-connectable potential groups/voltage segments. Selectable connection technology includes M18, 7/8in, M12x1, and AIDA push-pull.
