Description

The SICK W26 Series Photoelectric Sensor has three base system configurations, including proximity sensor, though-beam sensor, and retro-reflective sensor. Each unit is equipped with new technologies such as TwinEye and OptoFilter for reliable object detection. These models utilize PinPoint LED or LED light sources, with visible red or infrared light types. The push-and-turn control element permits quick adjustment to the appropriate parameters for various object types. Sensing range minimums are as low as 0m, and can reach a maximum of 120m, depending on sensor type. Light, dark, or light/dark switching modes are available, with NPN, PNP, or PNP/NPN push-pull outputs.

The W26 Series sensors alignment is simplified via the BluePilot LED aid. Each model is configurable to application needs via IO-Link, enabling additional diagnostic functionality and Smart Tasks such as base logics, time measurement + debouncing, and counter + debouncing. The protection of the rugged VISTAL enclosure ensures a long service life, with a lasered label for easy device identification that will withstand wear and tear over time.
