Description

The SICK W34 Series Photoelectric Sensor has three base system configurations, including proximity sensor, though-beam sensor, and retro-reflective sensor. These models utilize an LED light source, with visible red or infrared light types. Sensing range minimums are as low as 0m, and can reach a maximum of 60m, depending on sensor type. 

The W34 Series is distinguished by its durable ABS plastic housing, which also encapsulates all control elements under the “optics cover”. This facilitates reliable usage in outdoor environments. Sensor adjustment occurs via potentiometer, with light/dark switching modes and NPN/PNP, or relay outputs. Depending on configuration, these sensors are compatible with DC or DC/AC power supplies.
