Description

The SICK Roller Sensor Bar Series Photoelectric Sensor provides a streamlined solution for detection of objects with irregular leading edges in applications utilizing conveyer belts. This series is based around a proximity sensor built to mount between machine rollers. This product family is available in sensor lengths from 200 to 1200mm, ensuring flexibility to the application need, and reducing blind spots on the conveyer. 2 to 8 sensing points are available depending on model, with configurable beam spacing starting at 50mm, and going up to 200mm. The adjustability of the sensor down to the mm permits detection of objects such as poly bags, jiffy packs, boxes, totes, and pallets.

With the Roller Sensor Bar Series mount style, catch points on objects are more readily detected and removed, reducing jams and resulting system downtimes. Extensive connection options and tool-free assembly of the Roller Sensor Bar via spring-loaded end caps, provide a quick and easy install process in the factory. Each unit comes in a durable IP67 rated metal enclosure.
