Description
The SICK MLG-2 Series Automation Light Grid consists of three variants: the MLG-2 Prime, MLG-2 Pro and MLG-2 ProNet. All three are designed for various applications, including detection of transparent objects and high object speeds. With a resolution of up to 1.25mm, the MLG-2 Series cross beam measurement, high-speed scan, and transparent mode functionality are built for reliable, highly accurate measurement of automation processes. Operating ranges are highly versatile, from 1.5 to 8.5m in range, with response times as low as 3.5ms. Extensive beam separation offerings also ensures complete coverage and easy system integration, from 2.5 up to 50mm. The MLG-2 Pro and ProNet variants, in addition to a switching output, also integrate standard communication interfaces such as RS-485, EtherNet, fieldbus, and/or an IO-Link.
