The SICK Flexi Compact Series Safety Controller is a modular design with easily configured to various application needs via user-friendly Safety Designer software. The main module features a compact design that permits installation in tight locations. Diagnostic data is available for standard fieldbus enabled systems. The Flexi Compact series integrates safe series connections via SICK Flexi Loop technology. This product family's main module comes with a front connector and spring terminals, with 20 safety capable inputs, 4 safety outputs, and 8 test outputs. The main module also offers a Modbus TCP interface with select variants.

The Flexi Compact Series includes additional I/O modules to extend the main modules, as well as fieldbus Gateways for CANopen, EtherCAT, and PROFINET TCP/IP protocols. These versatile, high-performing controllers offer safety levels guaranteed to PL e, SIL 3 standards. The Flexi Compact is a well equipped solution for machinery requiring average to complex safety logic networking, easily able to control a large number of doors, flaps or decentralized safety paths, such as are found in packaging systems.
