Description
The SICK picoScan100 Series Lidar and Radar Sensor offers an extensive working range of 0.05 to 120m, a 276° field of view, with high sensitivity and angular resolution up to 0.05°. The picoScan100 family utilizes the advanced HDDM+ multi-pulse measurement method, to ensure gap-free scanning and immunity to interference. The large number of laser pulses ensures overlap of laser points for thorough scanning, and reliable detection of small objects. This measurement method's high accuracy is protected from the elements with a durable enclosure built to withstand harsh application environments, and ambient temperatures of –33 to 50°C.
System features configurable with the picoScan100 series includes LiDAR-LOC, which utilizes natural contours to achieve localization results, without the need for adjustment to surroundings. When LiDAR-LOC technology is combined with the CODE-LOC feature, the localization accuracy is increased even further. Mobile robots such as AMRs and AGVs can navigate virtually charted lines with the Virtual Line Navigation feature.
The picoScan150 variants come in three versions: Core, Prime or Pro. These differ in scanning range (25, 60 and 120m), resolution and scan rate, and are highly adaptable to meet various application requirements.
Applications
- Navigation of small autonomous mobile robots (AMRs)
- Driver assistance system in industrial trucks
- Object measurement and detection
- Monitoring of areas and objects in the field of building automation
- Automation applications, indoors or outdoors
