The Festo EFSD Series Stopper Cylinder is designed to stop conveyed goods weighing between 0.25 and 100 kg without an additional motor controller by connecting it directly to the PLC. It features low-maintenance pneumatic cushioning that can be easily adjusted with the screw on the top of the device. The EFSD series is controlled via digital I/O of a higher-level controller, e.g. terminal CPX, and can provide status and error messages for visual error diagnostics. The power supply, communication, and logic processing are all conducted directly by the device.
